About this bat

The SF Rapa Edge is a Grade 4 English-willow bat from SF, from its Rajat Patidar (RAPA) series.

SF’s listing describes a mid-blade swell, a sweet spot that SF says is sustained along the blade, generous edges and a long, sweeping spine.

Care & preparation

A new English-willow bat needs knocking in before it faces a hard leather ball; the store offers machine knocking.
Keep the bat dry and out of heat (a car boot in summer, a damp kit bag).
When the bare willow looks dry, give it a light coat of bat oil; too much oil adds weight.
